NORMAN WELLS, NT, Sept. 4, 2026 /CNW/ -- The Minister of Transport and Leader of the Government in the House of Commons, the Honourable Steven MacKinnon and the Minister of Crown-Indigenous Relations, the Honourable Rebecca Alty, will make an announcement regarding a major investment to advance a nation-building infrastructure project in Canada. Minister MacKinnon and Minister Alty will be joined by the Deputy Premier of the Northwest Territories, the Honourable Caroline Wawzonek, Member of Legislative Assembly for Sahtu, the Honourable Daniel McNeely, and His Worship Frank Pope, Mayor of Norman Wells.
